Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This policy explains what information MadFishOne (operated by MadFish Solutions) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to deliver your storefront, we never see your card details, and we don't sell your data.
1. Information we collect
When you purchase
- Contact details: your name, business name, email address, and phone number, collected at checkout.
- Order details: the package you selected, the build type (launch, upgrade, or migrate), and the amount paid.
- Payment references: Stripe transaction identifiers. Payment is completed on Stripe-hosted pages; your card number never touches our systems.
During onboarding
- Store setup data: business addresses, store settings (currency, tax, shipping), and the design selections you make.
- Platform credentials: API access for your BigCommerce store and, for migrations, your source platform. Credentials are encrypted at rest and used only to deliver the Services.
- Your story: if you use the record-your-story feature, your audio is transcribed to generate your site content. The content is yours.
Automatically
- Booking data: when you schedule your concierge call through the embedded Calendly scheduler.
- Basic technical logs: standard server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use it
- To deliver what you purchased: build, configure, and publish your storefront, and complete your migration.
- To communicate with you about your order, booking, and build.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the processors needed to deliver the Services:
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Calendly: scheduling your concierge call.
- Amazon Web Services: email delivery and hosting infrastructure.
- BigCommerce: your storefront platform.
Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.
4. Retention
We retain order and build records for as long as needed to support your storefront and meet legal and accounting obligations. Source-platform credentials used for migration are removed once the migration is complete. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see Contact below); we will honor the request except where retention is required by law.
5. Security
- Sensitive values (platform credentials, API tokens) are encrypted at rest.
- Your personal onboarding link is stored only as a cryptographic hash.
- Administrative access to our systems requires two-factor authentication.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
7. Children
The Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
